Petition to the Government of Canada

Whereas:

• AI has become very invasive across the internet;

• AI is near impossible to delete from electronic devices; and

• AI is often wrong, misleading and has led to harm, especially for children and teens.

We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to ensure that: 1. All Canadians and residents of Canada have the right to accept AI or not accept AI on all electronic devices; 2. All Canadians and residents of Canada have the right to not have AI apps or add-ons for every search or website they use; 3. All Canadians and residents of Canada have the right to be free from undisclosed AI apps, add-ons, or other hidden processes within their devices; 4. All Canadians and residents of Canada have the right to be compensated for job loss due to AI, with six to twelve month's salary beyond what their province allows, depending on the length of employment; and 5. All creators, proprietors and providers of AI must state where all AI apps, add-ons, or other hidden processes on phones, tablets, laptops and all other forms of electronic computing devices.
