Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds are recognized across Canada and internationally as a symbol of Canadian excellence and professionalism;
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds inspire young Canadians to pursue careers in aviation, engineering, and the Canadian Armed Forces;
• many Canadians support maintaining the Canadian Forces Snowbirds program as a source of national pride and public engagement;
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds are one of the most widely recognized public symbols of the Canadian Armed Forces;
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds contribute to national morale and foster a sense of connection and pride among Canadians;
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds showcase Canadian aviation heritage and military professionalism to audiences around the world; and
• the Canadian Forces Snowbirds serve as ambassadors for Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces both domestically and internationally.
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to maintain and continue funding and operational support for the Canadian Forces Snowbirds program through 2030.
